Software Security Analyst - Washington, DC

The following skills are desired but not mandatory:
- Ability to read a variety of different programming languages and understand security implications
- Ability to quickly pick up new programming languages
- An in-depth understanding of a large number of vulnerability classes, how to find them (in binary and source), exploit, and prevent them
- Excellent written communications and reporting skills
- Excellent verbal communications skills
- Ability to comfortably operate a variety of debuggers on various operating systems
- Ability to craft custom proof-of-concept exploit code
- The preferable candidate will have experience writing their own fuzzers and/or using commercial/open source fuzzing tools
- The preferable candidate will have an understanding of professional Software Development and Software Development Lifecycle (SDL)
Penetration Tester - Arlington, VA
Executive Instruments is looking for a Penetration Tester to work with a team of experienced penetration testers. Engagements range from Internet facing blind testing, to social engineering tests, to assessing custom embedded devices.
Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
- Strong ability to pick up new technologies and understand security implications
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong understanding of various programming and scripting languages
- Ability to automate repetitive tasks
- Excellent understanding of various networking technologies and operating systems
- Possess a wide knowledge of various vulnerability classes, discovery techniques, and crafting exploits
